Rond 1900 maakte Gouwenaar H.P. Olifiers meer dan 170 foto’s in en rond Gouda. Hij maakte daarbij gebruik van een stereoscopische 3D fotocamera.

Decennia lang lagen deze bijzondere foto’s te verstoffen in het Friese Bartlehiem tot ze op het nippertje werden gered uit een brandend huis. Daarna keerde de fotoserie terug naar Gouda.

In samenwerking met Streekarchief Midden-Holland en Bibliotheek Gouda ontwikkelde VRSPACE en Xander Dezentje van Blunderbuss Studios een hypermoderne beleving waarbij de originele foto’s uit 1900 bekeken kunnen worden in een 3D virtuele realiteit.

Kijk rond in Gouda van 1900 in 3D en maak een tijdreis naar het Gouda van nu op dezelfde locaties. Wandel door een virtueel museum en bekijk de gehele expositie inclusief achtergrond informatie.
